Zohaib Rashid joins OBV

Zohaib Rashid today joins OBV as OBV’s Web Editor/ Journalist. He picks up the mantle from Winsome –Grace Cornish MBE , OBV’s former Communications Director who worked over the last 5 years to make OBV’s website a showcase of political analysis and the ‘home of black politics’ and assisted more recently by Leon Green.

Zohaib is a qualified journalist with over five year’s professional newsroom experience at a national newspaper. As a specialist in Sports Journalism, he worked at the Eastern Eye as their Sports Editor for many years and is looking forward to turning his creative flair to report on the political world.

Simon Woolley's OBV stated,

It was a great loss when we couldn't re-employ Leon because he'd got a great post at the Disaster Emergency Committee-DEC- but we are delighted that Zohaib has joined us. He is enthusiastic as we are about his new challenge.
