Unmasked: Welsh Defence League links with neo-Nazis

BBC Wales reports on an undercover investigation into a far right group’s links to neo-Nazi supporters. The secretly filmed footage shown on the Week In Out programme exposes criminal activity amongst supporters of the Welsh Defence League.

Posing as a new member of the group, an undercover journalist accompanied a number of Welsh supporters to a protest.

Some were caught on camera and online, making racist comments about Muslims.

Stoke-on-Trent: Arson attack on Mosque

Three teenagers were arrested Friday after an arson attack on a Staffordshire mosque – described by police as a racially-motivated crime. The fire began at a newly-built mosque in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, at 6.30am. The attack comes in the same period as far right politicians on the council attempted to force a motion in which Halal food was banned from local schools.

Lib Dem, East Dunbartonshire MP Jo Swinson has expressed dismay that X Factor star Gamu Nhengu cannot promote her Christmas charity single because of her contract with the ITV show.

Yesterday Scottish MP Jo Swinson said in a Commons motion that she was "dismayed that despite this act of charity on her part, Gamu has been prohibited from promoting the single by her contractual obligations to the television show The X Factor on the basis that the Aberlour single is in direct competition with the show's Christmas number one bid".
