The independence of Ghana in 1957 paved the way for a successive liberation struggle across the continent of Africa and the Caribbean and Ghana was the torch bearer for this freedom movement and Pan Africanism across the world. As part of this celebration we are determined to showcase our rich cultural heritage for the rest of the world to see hence the Kente Affair. This is an opportunity for our thousands of listeners to share our achievements and celebrate this worldwide event with us in a night of fantastic entertainment and in great company."
The Kente Affair will enable the station to engage with its listeners and also give the audience the opportunity to meet their favourite Voice of Africa Radio presenters and D.J’s.
This is an exciting year as the station plans to engage in a wide range of activities to mark its twelfth year in existence.
