Countdown: Would you like to be a contestant?
Channel 4 are looking for contestants for the new series of Countdown programme which will begin filming in January 2013.
Countdown is a TV game show in which people compete against the clock to solve word and number puzzles.
The popular show, which began in 1982, is Channel 4's longest running series. It will be presented by Nick Hewer along with numbers expert Rachel Riley and words expert Susie Dent.
So if you want to compete in the programme and put your linguistic and mathematical skills to test, then why not apply.
