Have you been stopped and searched?
Speak out now.
In the wake of the recent spate of divisive Home Office initiatives such as tube 'stop checks' and 'go home' ad vans, the Islam Channel would like to explore the direct impact it is having on our communities.
Have you been stopped by a UKBA official and asked about your legal status in the UK? Have you seen the 'Go Home or Face Arrest' campaign van? The Islam Channel is looking for people who have been a victim of this recent campaign to share their stories which will appear on our Politics and Media show on Monday 12th August.
The Islam Channel is the UK's largest Islam focused television station based in London, UK. They aim to produce programmes that address issues that are of particular interest to Muslim communities in the UK and provide a platform for voices that are often not heard on mainstream media.
