Historical ‘race at work’ survey
This is your chance to make history. Never before have we had the opportunity to, in our own words articulate what the Black experience is in the workplace. Now we do. Business in the Community's 'Race Equality Campaign' in partnership with BME communities and organisations such as Operation Black Vote and Runnymede Trust will endeavour to undertake the UK’s largest ever survey of racial attitudes and experiences in the workplace.
What’s your experience of countless interviews, being passed over for promotion, being forced to accept zero hour contracts, having to ignore inappropriate racial remarks? You can raise these and many other areas in this survey, including the good practices.
Only by massive engagement can we tell the Government and big business what works and what needs to be changed. We get this right and we have the potential to transform the work place, its negative practices and unleash talent.
We want the views of ethnic minority and white employees aged 16-64+ and currently in employment in the UK (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) to participate in this survey. There are also questions for someone who may be currently unemployed to complete we are keen to hear their stories also. The survey is confidential to complete and should take no more than 15 minutes.
Help us make history and transform the work-place!
