Malcolm X: a life of reinvention
Sorry that this has come so late but you have less than a week to listen BBC 4's book of the week: Malcolm X: A life of Reinvention by Manning Marable.
I only caught the last episode today and will now back track and listen to the other four 15 minute episodes in this fascinating series.
As is well documented some of Marable’s facts about Malcolm are hotly disputed, that said this book has be an important document to understand one of America’s iconic Black political figures.
Listen to it now (hurry as it’s only available for another few days) and learn a little bit more of our Black history.
