Dr Shahrar Ali, Green Candidate Brent Central
Dr Ali has lived in Brent for the last decade. He is a philosophy lecturer, teaches and has a Phd that focused on lying and deception in public life. He was previously a researcher in the European Parliament studying the risks of growing and eating genetically modified foods.

Sam Juthani Labour Candidate Henley
Sam is an economist and has worked in HM Treasury, and as a consultant to the World Bank. He currently works for an environmental charity. He has just completed the London Marathon raising money for Whizz Kids, a local charity.

Kwasi Kwarteng Conservative Candidate Spellthorne
Kwasi studied at Eton College, and Cambridge University where he read classic’s and history. He also has a PHD in Economic History. He has written extensively about things as diverse as the legacy of empire to the causes of traffic congestion.
Kwasi was part of the 1995 University Challenge team champions. He was a former chairman of the think tank Bow Group
He was elected to represent Spelthorne in 2010.
