Congratulations Paulette Simpson CBE – Supasista
Operation Black Vote warmly congratulates Paulette Simpson on being awarded the Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE), for service to the Caribbean community in the United Kingdom (UK).
For many years Paulette has been a business and community role model for many Black both here in the UK and in the Caribbean. To OBV and to me personally she’s been a great friend.
“Dear Simon my brother”, she starts with her lilting Jamiacan tone, “ you know the Voice newspaper is OBV’s platform to empower our communities don’t you. So don’t be afraid “. And ask we have, and delivered The Voice always does.
Along with all her other projects she is about to launch another first here in the UK Jamiaca National Bank here to serve all but to particularly reach out to the African/Caribbean Diaspora.
We wish you great success, but today we’d like to applaud you .
Congratulations, Paulette.
