European Elections BME Candidates 2014
Those candidates with photos, Neena Gil, Claude Moraes, Afzal Khan, Issan Ghazni, Syed Kamall, Sajjad Karim, and Nirj Deva, are all likely to be elected if their parties do reasonably well in the elections tomorrow .
The candidates below, all of whom are not in the top two of the party list system will need an excellent showing from their party to be elected.
A glance at those BME candidates like to be elected, one cannot help but notice the absence of African and Caribbean candidates from any of the political parties.
If this is not to be replicated for the next General Election in 2015 the Parties must act quickly as there are fewer and fewer seats who have not chosen their 2015 candidate.
But to all those standing this time round good luck! Simon Woolley
