Birmingham debates Brexit
In what will be one of the most important debates of our generation, Operation Black Vote has teamed up with the Canon St Memorial Baptist Church to discuss Brexit and what the implications are for race equality.
We want to ensure that our communities have as many facts at our disposable as possible. What do we gain, what do we lose by leaving or remaining in the EU. We’ll also be promoting voter registration, which is a prerequisite to vote. The deadline to register to vote is the 7th June.
We will be reaching out to all sections of the electorate, including BME communities and young people, on the need to play a full and positive role in the EU referendum vote on the 23rd of June.
The Referendum vote is on the 23rd June.
We hope to welcome you to this meeting. Let's hear your views, and those "experts’" and above all engage in this important debate.
Please book your seat by emailing: tickets@obv.org.uk
