A top leader of LTTE (also known as the Tamil Tigers) has apologised for the assassination of Indian Premier Rajiv Gandhi back in 1991. Kumaran Pathmanathan, who was the Treasurer of LTTE and its chief arms procurer, said that 'mistakes had been made in making Gandhi a target of the Tiger’s campaign for independence.

Judge shows leniency to racist Terry Fitzpatrick

Having been convicted of racially aggravated harassment the Judge at Snaresbrook crown court showed great leniency by not automatically imprisoning Terry Fitzpatrick. Instead he will receive a nine months suspended prison sentence.

The Judge also gave an injunction that Fitzpatrick should not contact or write about Lee Jasper, myself or OBV directly or indirectly.

Africa's finest say farewell to Tayo

It felt more like a State funeral than the farewell to a local councillor.

The African Ambassador's cars lined up outside the majestic Southwark Cathedral. Former Deputy Prime Minister Harriet Harman and a host of other MP's came to pay their respects. African church leaders numbered a dozen or more, and nearly a thousand other well wishes crammed into to the grand cathedral to say goodbye to Mayor Tayo Situ.
