Neena Gill, MEP
Neena Gill was born in Ludhiana, India, in 1956. Gill is a member of the Labour Party for the West Midlands and she holds a BA Hons. in Social Studies and served as Deputy President of the Liverpool Polytechnic Students Union.
On the 22nd May 2014 during the European general election she was re-elected as MEP for West Midlands.
She was first elected to serve as Member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2009 and prior to becoming a Member of the European Parliament, she was Chief Executive of Asra Greater London Housing Association and Chief Executive of the New London Housing Group.
From 2009 to 2014 Gill was an MD for Public Affairs and from 2010 with SAS Software, as the Vice President Corporate Affairs for Europe and Asia Pacific.
