Adam Hafejee Patel
Lord Patel was raised to the peerage as Baron Patel of Blackburn of Langho in the County of Lancashire in 2000.
Lord Patel's career accomplishments include working as Managing Director of a clothing manufacturing company and Director of East Lancashire Training Enterprise Council.
He is a member of CPA, is a former President of Lancashire Council of Mosques and Vice-President of Blackburn Community Relations Council.
Lord Patel of Blackburn has special interests in community and social work, education, race relations, economy and regeneration. He joined the House of Lords on 14 February 2000 and is affiliated with the Labour Party.
With his wife, Ayesha, he has 4 sons and 4 daughters.
