Tarsem King
Lord Tarsem King (24 April 1937 - 9 January 2013) studied at Khalsa High School and Punjab University in India. He also attended National Foundry College, Aston University, Teacher Training College and Essex University.
Lord King was a member of NUT and Councillor of Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council. His career accomplishments include being Laboratory assistant at Coneygre Foundry, Deputy Head of Mathematics Department at Great Barr School, and Managing Director of Sandwell Polybags Ltd.
Lord King was a member of the National Policy Forum and the Black Country Consortium. He had special interests in local government, education and small businesses.
He was married to Mrs Mohinder Kaur and had one son.
