Marsha Singh, ex-MP
Marsha Singh (October 11, 1954 - July 17, 2012) was Labour MP for Bradford West from 1997 – 2012 when he resigned due to ill health.
Marsha was born in India. He has a BA (Hons) in Languages, Politics and Economics of Modern Europe from Loughborough University. Before entering Parliament he was a Senior Development Manager at Bradford Community Health Authority.
Since being elected MP for Bradford West, Marsha sponsored the Community Care and Residential Accommodation Act (1998). He sat as a Member of the Home Affairs Select Committee (1997- 2005) and was a Member of the International Development Select Committee from 2005 – 2010.
