Munira Wilson MP (Liberal Democrat)


Munira Wilson is the Liberal Democrat MP for Twickenham. She was elected in the December 2019 General Election receiving 36,166 votes, equalling a majority of 56.1%.  

A Twickenham resident of Pakistani ancestry, Munira attended St Catharine's College, Cambridge, where she graduated with a degree in Modern Languages (French and German), including a year abroad as an English assistant in two secondary schools in southern France. Munira served as a councillor on Richmond upon Thames London Borough Council from 2006 to 2010 and as a governor at Heathfield Junior School.

Munira is a senior leader in a leading global science and technology company based in Feltham. She has also worked in the NHS and for leading charities.
